Lady Eagles fight until the end, fall against Rambelles

Oklahoma City, Okla. - The Lady Eagles hosted their second matchup of a five-game homestand, with a matchup against the Rambelles of Angelo State.
 
Angelo State jumped out to an 11-point lead after the first quarter, but Oklahoma Christian battled in the second half, getting to the line, and knocking down free throws to a 19-15 quarter. Brooklin Bain led the Eagles at the break with 8 points, 2 rebounds, and 3 steals.
 
The Belles took a 37-22 lead into halftime. But the Lady Eagles were aggressive leading in offensive rebounds and trips to the line, making 12-14 free throws going into halftime.
 
ASU had a strong third quarter, but OC flipped in the fourth quarter winning the quarter, 23-14. In the quarter the Lady Eagles had fourteen second-chance points on the back of eight offensive rebounds. They also went 10-13 from the stripe to bring their total to 28-33 (84.8%), which was a season high.
 
Oklahoma Christian will get nine days to prepare for Arkansas Fort Smith, when they take them on at 2 p.m. on December 19th in the Nest.
