SAN ANTONIO (Nov. 29, 2020) – Oklahoma Christian bowler
Josh Imhoff rolled a 300 game on Sunday during competition in the Dirty River Singles tournament at Astro Super Bowl.
Imhoff, a junior from Cabot, Ark., rolled the perfect score in the second of his eight games on Sunday, earning a $1,000 bonus. It was the only 300 game rolled during the two-day tournament.
He finished 15th in the tournament's "A" bracket with a score of 1,732 over eight games, just one spot and 24 pins from making the cut for the semifinals. His OC teammate, junior
Sam Butler of Texarkana, Texas, did make the semifinals and eventually finished 19th.
Imhoff, Butler and the Eagles are scheduled to start their pandemic-delayed season on Jan. 23 in the Southwest Intercollegiate Bowling Circuit (SWIBC) I tournament in Dallas.
