OKLAHOMA CITY (Oct. 25, 2020) – Picking up his fourth collegiate win in Oklahoma Christian's final tournament of the fall season earned Oklahoma Christian golfer Andres Brictson recognition Sunday as the Eagle of the Week.

Brictson, a junior from Merida, Mexico, took top honors in The Hrnciar, played Monday and Tuesday at The Territory Golf and Country Club in Duncan. He shot 2-under-par 70 in both rounds to finish at 4-under 140, then won a playoff against Cameron's Tobias Andersen with a birdie on the fourth hole.

Three of Brictson's four career wins have been earned from winning a playoff.

He led a strong OC finish, in which three Eagles (including Trevor Norby and Mateo Pulcini) finished in the top four in the 54-man field. OC breezed to the team title – its first in a calendar year – by 19 shots over Cameron. It was OC's fourth straight win in the tournament hosted each October by Cameron.

Brictson earlier was named as the Lone Star Conference's player of the week.

The Eagle of the Week award recognizes the top performer in OC athletics for the previous week. The honor is presented each week at least one OC athletic team is in competition.
