EDMOND, Okla. (June 26, 2019) – Former Oklahoma Christian player Kyle Hudelson tied for seventh place in the Oklahoma Golf Association Stroke Play Championship, which ended a three-day run Wednesday at Oak Tree Country Club's East Course.

Hudelson, from Edmond, played for the Eagles in 2008 and again in 2012. This week, the 31-year-old shot rounds of 72, 70 and 73 on the par-70 course to finish at 5-over 215. He finished nine shots behind the winner, Heath Myers of Kingfisher.

He was one of two players with OC ties to make the cut this week in the 61-man OGA event. Current OC player Ransen Turner of Edmond tied for 30th at 227, shooting a 1-under 69 in the second round.
