OKLAHOMA CITY (May 17, 2019) – Oklahoma Christian golf signees Alyssa Wilson and Said Powers have been named to the Oklahoma Coaches Association's All-State teams.
Wilson, from Yukon, finished fifth in the Class 6A girls state tournament this year after placing 14th as a junior and fourth as a sophomore. She made
The Oklahoman's All-City first-team list in 2017, received honorable mention in 2018 and likely will be somewhere on the newspaper's honor list this year, too.
Powers, who played for Oklahoma Christian School in Edmond, helped OCS win the Class 3A boys title in 2017 and the Class 2A title in 2018 before finishing as the team runner-up this season. He finished 10th in this year's 2A tournament, 12th in 2A as a junior and fourth in 3A as a sophomore. He received honorable mention on
The Oklahoman's All-City list in 2017 and 2018.
The annual All-State tournament will be played July 22 at Cherokee Hills Golf Club in Catoosa. Both Powers and Wilson will play for the West squads.
