OKLAHOMA CITY (March 12, 2019) – Three Oklahoma Christian bowlers earned recognition as Collegiate Scholar Athletes this season from the National Collegiate Bowling Coaches Association.
OC's honorees were
Hannah Hayhurst, a freshman Psychology major from Universal City, Texas;
Taylore Ryan, a freshman Music Education/Vocal major from Allen Texas; and
Cole Stillman, a sophomore Mathematics major from Cabot, Ark.
The awards were presented Sunday at the Intercollegiate Team Championships Sectional Qualifier in Dallas.
Hayhurst, Ryan and Stillman are the first recipients of the NCBCA award from OC, as the university's club programs are in their first year of existence. To qualify for the award, a bowler must have a cumulative grade-point average of at least 3.5.
