EDMOND, Okla. (Oct. 26, 2019) – Oklahoma Christian women's soccer team fell 3-0 to Lubbock Christian (Texas) on Saturday afternoon.
In the game moved to Central Oklahoma's Wantland Stadium and its artificial-turf surface after heavy rains on Thursday and Friday made OC's Eagle Soccer Field unplayable, Haley Knesek scored two goals for Lubbock Christian (10-4-1, 7-2-1 Lone Star Conference), which moved into a tie for third place in the LSC standings.
The Chaparrals outshot OC (2-12, 2-7) by a 19-5 count. The Eagles were led by freshman
Mary Olmos, who had two shots on goal.
Allison Scott put Lubbock Christian ahead with a goal in the 13th minute, while Knesek scored her goals in the 52nd and 89th minutes, respectively.

Gabby Goddard made five saves, increasing her season total to 88, second-highest in the Lone Star. Lubbock Christian goalkeeper Hannah Wise did not make a save.
OC will play Thursday at league rival Eastern New Mexico.
