Colin White posted Oklahoma Christian's top game of the day and
Josh Imhoff had the highest individual score for the Eagles on Saturday on the opening day of the Tier I Kegel/ISBPA Midwest Collegiate Classic at Stardust Bowl.
White, a freshman from Colorado Springs, Colo., sat out game two of the Eagles' five-game set after a disappointing 142 in the first game, but bounced back with a 217, followed by a 239. That helped OC to a team score of 4,488 through the five individual games, putting the Eagles in 42nd place among the 70 teams in the tournament.
Imhoff, a freshman from Cabot, Ark., posted a high game of 223 and was OC's top individual, placing 133rd among 476 bowlers at 919. He was closely followed by teammates
Sam Butler (137th at 917) and
Andrew McCann (138th at 916). Of OC's other bowlers Saturday,
Jacob Hastings had the top game, a 185.
Robert Morris (Ill.) led the team race with a score of 5,352, and Bryan Bourget of Robert Morris was the top individual with a five-game total of 1,204 pins.
The teams will bowl 20 Baker games on Sunday, with those scores to be combined with Saturday's scores to determine the champion.
