Eagles rise at Midwest Collegiate Classic in Baker play

ADDISON, Ill. (Jan. 20, 2019) – A strong performance in their 20 Baker games on Sunday meant Oklahoma Christian jumped into the upper half of the field on the final day of the Kegel/ISBPA Midwest Collegiate Classic.

OC started the day in 42nd place in the 70-team field, but improved to 34th thanks to a score of 3,690 in Baker games. That gave the Eagles an overall score of 8,178 for the two-day Tier I tournament.

The Eagles bowled eight Baker games over 200, including games of 265, 229 and 224, and closed with a 204.

McKendree (Ill.) won the team title with a score of 9,451.

The Eagles will return to action on Feb. 9-10 at the Southwest Intercollegiate Bowling Circuit (SWIBC) Championships at Firelake Bowl in Shawnee.
