Addison Milner posted her fifth double-digit saves performance of the season, but the Lady Eagles fell 3-0 to Lubbock Christian (Texas) on Saturday afternoon at the LCU Soccer Field.
Milner made 10 saves – including stopping a penalty kick – to increase her league-leading total to 94, helping keep OC (1-11, 0-8 Heartland Conference) in the game against Lubbock Christian (7-4-1, 4-3-1). The Chaparrals outshot OC 21-1.
Lubbock Christian broke a scoreless tie in the 39th minute, when Allison Scott headed in a corner kick by Cara Hunt. The Chaparrals went up 2-0 in the 73rd minute on a goal by Adrienne Almodova and 3-0 in the 79th minute when Hollie Windham scored.
Milner, a sophomore from Corinth, Texas, stopped a penalty kick by Kate O'Gara in the 78th minute, just before Windham's goal.
After six straight games on the road, the Lady Eagles will be back home next week for a pair of games, hosting league rivals St. Mary's (Texas) on Thursday and Texas A&M International on Saturday.
