Box Score DALLAS (Oct. 21, 2017) – Dallas Baptist (Texas) maintained its lead in the race for the Heartland Conference women's title, beating Oklahoma Christian 6-0 on Saturday afternoon at the Patriot Soccer Field.
Dallas Baptist (11-3-2, 9-1-2 Heartland Conference) has won or tied 11 straight league games. The Patriots outshot OC (2-14, 1-11) by a 22-3 count.
Kaci Parks put Dallas Baptist ahead in the 13th minute. Brittany Eccles followed with goals in the 31st and 46th minutes, and 22 seconds after Eccles' second goal, Lindsey Washburn made it 4-0 for the Patriots. DBU added a pair of late goals by Megan Mahoney and Katelyn Havard.

Monique Raygoza took OC's shots. Two DBU goalkeepers, Hope Koym and Grace Johnson, combined on the shutout for the Patriots.

The Lady Eagles will wrap up their season with a pair of home games next week, against Newman (Kan.) on Thursday night and Rogers State on Saturday afternoon.
