An upset minded Oklahoma Christian University took the measure of nationally ranked and previously undefeated Oklahoma City University 2-1 in women's soccer action here Oct. 3.
Lady Eagle senior Megan Childers shared scoring honors with freshman Andi Buck as OC won its fifth straight game to stand 8-4 on the year.
Childers received a pass from midfielder Cassie Tyler and launched a shot which caromed off the goalkeeper. In a crowd of defenders Childers regained control of the ball and kicked it through for the score at 19:15. It was Childers' seventh goal of the season.
Buck's goal was her second of the season. Off a throw in, she controlled a loose ball and left-footed it in for the goal at 23:17.
OCU, ranked 14th in the NAIA this week, has a 9-1-1 record. The Lady Eagles are undefeated in conference play with a 3-0 record.
