Scoring early and late the Oklahoma Christian Lady Eagles took a 4-1 victory from John Brown University in Sooner Conference action here Oct. 28.

Lady Eagles' sophomore Megan Childers set the early pace with a pair of first half goals, her 10th and 11th of the season. Childers scored her first goal on an unassisted breakaway and scored her second off a long cross from Rachel Wrinkle.

In the second half senior Angie Miller scored in the 71st minute off an assist from Kristin Walker. OC's final score came on a short tap by Edmond's Shannon Wahl, her sixth of the season. Wahl's tally came off a rebound of the JBU goalkeeper on an original shot by Wrinkle.

The Lady Eagles are now 7-5-5- overall and 3-1-3 in SAC play. JBU is now 11-6 and 4-3 in league action.
