Establishing a record for tie games in a season, Oklahoma Christian dueled Southern Nazarene University to a double-overtime 0-0 standoff in Bethany Oct. 23.
OC, now 6-5-5 for the season, is 1-1-3 in Sooner Conference play. Despite leading in shots 19 to 10 the Lady Eagles were unable to convert a goal and had to settle for their fifth tie of the season.
In the second half OC had scoring opportunities as sophomore Megan Childers had two shot attempts bounce off the crossbar of the goal.
