Oklahoma Christian lost to Midwestern University by a 4-3 margin in Wichita Falls, Texas Sept. 16. The Lady Eagles jumped to an early lead in the first half, but lost in double overtime and fall to a 3-2 overall record.
Sophomore Megan Childers gave the Lady Eagles an initial lead in the 13th minute and freshman Kristin Walker scored off a Childers assist the 22nd minute. Midwestern got on board in the 22nd minute but Childers scored again the 35th minute to give OC a 3-1 lead at intermission. Elizabeth Mullins was credited with an assist.
The Indians took control of the momentum in the second half and tied it 3-3 on a score by Amanda Ross in the 56th minute of regulation play. Midwestern's Megan Dodson scored the deciding goal in the 101st minute of overtime.
