Oklahoma Christian beat Oklahoma Baptist University 2-1 in the first ever soccer contest between the two schools here Oct. 19.
With the win the Lady Eagles improved their overall record to 7-8 and evened their conference record at 3-3.
OC senior Susan Myers scored a goal in the 19th minute to put the Lady Eagles on top. Senior Lindsey Motley earned an assist on the scoring play.
Junior Megan Childers kicked what proved to be the winning goal on a successful penalty kick in the 65th minute of play. It was Childers' fifth goal of the season.
Oklahoma Christian will play Friends University and Newman University in Wichita, Kan. this weekend, Oct. 22-23.
