Oklahoma Christian shut out Austin College 3-0 in the opening match of the 2003 soccer season in Sherman, Texas Aug. 29.

The Lady Eagles, the SAC and Region VI defending champions used goals by sophomore Megan Childers, senior Elizabeth Mullins and freshman Kristin Walker to earn their first victory.

OC goalkeeper Chelsee Truesdell had five saves for her first shutout of the season.
