A late scoring run enabled Oklahoma Christian to defeat Southern Nazarene University 83-76 in conference action here Jan. 10.

WIth the score tied 70-all at the four-minute mark, two free throws by senior All-American Jarred Merrill, and four points each by sophomore Keith Harris and Charles Baldwin nailed down the lead. Junior Brady Page was three for four at the foul line in the last minute of play.

The Eagles are now 14-1 (2-1) and the Crimson Storm are 11-6 (1-2).

Merrill recorded his 11th double-double of the season with 25 points and 11 rebounds. Baldwin scored 24 points and was four of six from three-point range. Harris scored 17 points and had five rebounds.

Merrill, now with 1,768 career points, moved into seventh place on the OC all-time scoring list.
