Oklahoma Christian's winning streak ended at nine as the University of Central Oklahoma prevailed 71-63 in Edmond Dec. 6.

Matching baskets shot for shot, the teams battled on nearly equal terms until OC edged ahead 31-30 at the half. The score remained tight much of the second half, including a 58-58 tie with 3:40 to play. Junior Micah Miles provided the tying points on a bigtime dunk.

But a four-point play with 40 seconds to go provided UCO with a 66-61 margin the Eagles were unable to overcome. Senior Brady Page scored two points at the free throw line, but the Bronchos countered with five points of their own for the 71-63 victory.

Four OC players finished in double figures. Page led with 14 points, followed by Keith Harris and Kendrick Jackson, each with 13 points, and Miles with 10.

The Eagles break for the holidays and return to host Texas Wesleyan University Dec. 30.
