Biography

2023: Appeared in 21 matches, playing 79 sets for Oklahoma Christian . . . Led the team with 6.14 assists per set with a total of 485 assists . . . One of six Eagles with at least 100 digs . . . Logged her lone double-double of the season against Lubbock Christian (Sept. 16) with a program-record 50 assists and 10 digs, while also adding five blocks and three kills . . . Her record-breaking performance came during a four-match span of securing 30 assists or more.

    • Lauren is digital marketing major joined OC from Johnson County Community College. 
    • Originally from Stilwell, KS, Lauren plays setter for the Eagles. 
    • Lauren hopes to work as a digital marketer for a professional sports organization after college. 
    • Lauren's family includes her mom and dad (Calee and Chris McClure) and her sister (Jenna McClure) 
    • Growing up Lauren was inspired by Jenna Gray, Maddison Linley, and Nicklin Hames 
  • 2022-23
    • Lauren played in 41 matches (128 sets) in her sophomore season, attributing to 882 assists and 163 digs, as well as getting in on 29 blocks and accounting for 102 points.
  • 2021-22
    • Lauren played in 32 matches (102 sets) in her freshman year at JCCC. Lauren claimed 562 assist, 149 digs and accounted for 58 points. 
    • Lauren helped JCCC to finish 3rd in the nation for Junior Colleges 
    • Earned NJCCA All-Academic Third Team. 
  • HIGH SCHOOL
    • Lauren was a two year starter at Blue Valley North High School in Overland Park, KS. 
    • Lauren was a part of 2 runs to the Kansas 6A State Tournament with a 4th place finish in 2019 and a 2nd place finish in 2020.
    • Lauren was selected to the Kansas Volleyball Association All-Star match her senior year 
    • Lauren spent 4 years playing for Four Corners Volleyball Club and 2 years playing for MAVS 816 club in Kansas.
