A former player at one of OC’s sister institutions, Lindsay Riggs joined the OC women’s soccer staff in August 2017 as an assistant coach.

Riggs, originally from Van Alstyne, Texas, also works as the head girls soccer coach at Mustang High School, where she is 42-14 in three seasons. Before becoming head coach, she spent three years as an assistant for the program at one of the state’s largest high schools.

She served as the coach for the Class 6A West All-State team in 2016 and guided Mustang to a Class 6A runner-up finish in 2018, after which The Oklahoman named her as its All-City coach of the year, and again in 2019.

Riggs played from 2007 to 2010 at Freed-Hardeman (Tenn.), where she appeared in 67 games during her four seasons. She graduated from FHU with a degree in kinesiology.
