Former Oklahoma Christian women's soccer standout Addie Ryan is entering her second season on the OC coaching staff. She will serve as a graduate assistant coach in 2015 after working as a student assistant coach with the Lady Eagles in 2014.
Ryan, from Edmond, played for the Lady Eagles in 2009, 2012 and 2013. As a senior, she earned All-Heartland Conference third-team honors and was a second-team selection to the All-National Christian College Athletic Association Central Region team.
An unquestioned team leader, Ryan mostly played in a defensive position for OC, but she excelled at pushing up from defense into the attack. She led the Lady Eagles in shots (52) and shots on goal (23) as a senior, serving as OC's primary free-kick specialist.
She finished second on the team in scoring in 2013 with eight points (two goals and a team-high four assists). Ryan tied for 10th in the conference in assists as OC finished 4-12-2.
