Sport, Wellness and Recreation Management major … Transfer from solid juco program at Butler (Kan.) who emerged as a star in her first season at OC … Has a huge clutch gene, twice making a pair of free throws in the final seconds to help lift her team to a win in 2015-16 season and hitting a game-winning 3-pointer to give OC a big road win at Newman (Kan.) in 2016-17 … Strong, physical post player who helps with interior defense and rebounding … Good perimeter and 3-point shooter who can stretch opponents’ defense … Particularly skilled at taking charges … Off the court, active in the (Texas) on Feb. 4 … Scored 19 points in over Oklahoma Panhandle State on Feb. 6 … As part of a 23-point performance in 65-62 win over Newman (Kan.) on Feb. 11, hit two free throws with 5.7 seconds left to give OC the lead, then blocked the Jets’ potential game-winning shot at the other end … Followed that with 24 points in loss at Rogers State on Feb. 18, 16 in loss at Arkansas-Fort Smith on Feb. 20, 18 in a win over St. Edward’s (Texas) on Feb. 25 and 13 (in only 15 minutes of playing time) in win over Texas-Permian Basin on Feb. 27… Finished season with 18 points and eight rebounds in loss to St. Mary’s (Texas) in the first round of the Heartland Conference tournament on March 3 … Previous school: Played sophomore season at Butler (Kan.) Community College, where she averaged 8.0 points and 4.3 rebounds per game in 18.5 minutes per game while shooting 47.5 percent from the field, 38.2 percent from 3-point range and 70.5 percent from the free-throw line … Helped the Grizzlies to a 24-7 record … Began college career at Northwestern Oklahoma State in 2013-14 … Appeared in nine games (four starts) for Northwestern, averaging 8.2 points and 3.8 rebounds per game … Led Rangers in scoring in three of her first four career games, against Colorado Mesa, Fort Hays State (Kan.) and Cameron (against which she scored  season-high 13 points) … Before college, attended Piedmont High School, where she averaged 17.1 points and 7.1 rebounds per game as a senior … Received All-State honors from the Oklahoma Coaches Association and the Oklahoma Girls Basketball Coaches Association and received honorable mention on The Oklahoman's Class 5A All-State team … The newspaper also named her to its All-Big City first-team list … In July 2012, was the recipient of the Kurt Budke Miranda Serna Award from the WNBA’s Tulsa Shock … The award, named for the Oklahoma State women's basketball coaches who died in a November 2011 plane crash, was presented to honorees who exhibited a positive attitude while exemplifying Budke's and Serna's passion for family, team and basketball.
