Named as the District 7-3A pitcher of the year … As a junior, went 15-1 with a 1.84 ERA and 150 strikeouts in 99 innings … Named as the District 7-2A pitcher of the year while leading her team to a bi-district championship … Also named to the Abilene Reporter-News' All-Big Country first-team honor list as a pitcher … As a sophomore, she earned honorable mention on the Texas Sports Writers Association All-State list as a first baseman and also made the Abilene newspaper's All-Big Country honor list – as both a pitcher (first team) and infielder (second team) … That season, she went 10-3 with a 1.45 ERA and 123 strikeouts in 96 innings while hitting .482 with 19 doubles, five home runs and 41 RBIs … Made the All-Big Country honor list as a relief pitcher as a freshman after going 8-1 with 68 strikeouts in 46 1/3 innings .. Also a basketball standout at Comanche, earning all-district honors twice and scoring 1,008 career points … Named as the All-Big Country newcomer of the year after freshman season.
