Lisa (Chenoweth) Zamroz joined the OC women’s basketball staff in June 2011. It’s Zamroz's first coaching job, but she’s a familiar face to those who’ve followed the OC program, having started two years at guard for the Lady Eagles.
She helped OC reach the NAIA Division I quarterfinals as a senior in 2010, earning All-Sooner Athletic Conference third-team honors and being named as an NAIA Scholar-Athlete.
The 28-year-old Zamroz grew up in Tulsa and graduated from Union High School (where she earned All-State honors) in 2006. She spent two years at The Master’s College in Santa Clarita, Calif., before transferring to OC.
She graduated from OC with a bachelor of science degree in sports, wellness and recreation management in 2010. In addition to her work at OC, she conducts independent basketball lessons.
She is married to Brett Zamroz. The couple lives in Oklahoma City and has a son, Griff.
