Business major … Transfer from Western Oklahoma State who provided Lady Eagles with immediate pop and power last season … Quickly became one of the most feared sluggers in the Heartland Conference, able to hit for both average and power … 2013: Played in all 44 games, hitting .374 with 10 home runs (the fourth-best single-season total in school history) and 36 RBIs … Also had 14 doubles and two triples along with a slugging percentage of .764 … Had a team-high 25 walks and posted a .480 on-base percentage … In Heartland Conference stats, finished sixth in hitting, second in slugging percentage, fourth in on-base percentage, fifth in RBIs, third in doubles, tied for first in triples, fourth in home runs, fifth in total bases (94) and fifth in walks … Despite her stellar numbers, was only selected to the second-team All-Heartland Conference list … In doubleheader sweep of Southwestern Christian to open the season, she hit three doubles … Hit a two-run home run and added a run-scoring double in 6-1 win over Northwestern Oklahoma State in home opener on Feb. 19 … Hit a solo home run, OC’s lone highlight in 9-1 loss to No. 14 Texas Woman’s … Homered and went 3-for-3 in 9-1 win over Oklahoma Panhandle State … Doubled and tripled and had two RBIs in 8-7 loss at Cameron … In doubleheader sweep at Newman (Kan.), went 4-for-6 and homered in a 12-3 win in the opener … Homered in both ends of a doubleheader split at Texas-Permian Basin … Her two-run shot provided all of OC’s offense in a 5-2 loss to UTPB, then she followed with a three-run blast during a 10-run sixth inning in a 17-3 win in the second game … Had a pair of doubles as part of a 3-for-3 performance in a 10-2 loss to Southern Nazarene … Smashed two-run homer in first inning of 5-4 loss at eventual Heartland champion St. Mary’s (Texas), then homered again the next day in an 8-5 loss to the Rattlers … The latter shot capped a five-run seventh-inning rally and gave OC a brief lead … Named Heartland Conference hitter of the week after the performance at St. Mary’s … Ninth home run of season came in the first inning of an 8-0 win at Texas A&M International in the regular-season finale … Hit her 10th and final homer of the season, a solo shot, in 7-0 win over Oklahoma Wesleyan in NCCAA Central Region semifinals … Previous school: Starred for Western  Oklahoma State College in Altus, twice earning NJCAA Division I Region II first-team honors … Set school single-season records for doubles (24), hits (84), runs (71) and on-base percentage (.516) … As a sophomore, hit .437 with 24 doubles, 19 home runs and 69 RBIs … As a freshman, hit .392 with 18 doubles and 16 home runs … Earned NJCAA Division I player of the week honors twice during her juco career … Before attending Western, attended Nolan Catholic High School in Fort Worth, Texas … Named to the Texas Private School Coaches Association North All-Star roster as a senior in 2010 … Helped team reach TAPPS Class 5A state title game in 2009 and 2010, finishing 26-10 the latter season … Two-time all-state first-team pick … Three-time all-district first-team pick and two-time district most valuable player.
