Nordyke, a former Oklahoma Christian standout, became the Eagles' pitching coach in August 2020 after spending the previous two seasons as a graduate assistant coach for the program, and she's since been on the coaching staff for the first three OC teams (2019, 2021, 2022) to qualify for the NCAA Division II tournament.
She was a four-year starter as a pitcher and first baseman for OC from 2015-2018, earning All-Heartland Conference honors her final two seasons.
As a senior in 2018, she hit .346 (fourth-highest in the Heartland) with 32 RBIs and went 7-8 in the circle with a 3.42 ERA while making the All-Heartland first-team list. She also made the all-tournament team at the Heartland Conference Championship after helping the Eagles reach the title game for the first time.
As a coach, Nordyke is following in the footsteps of her father, Rick Nordyke, a longtime high school baseball and softball coach in Edmond. She played for her father at Edmond North High School.
