Cooper Battisti is in his first year with the Oklahoma Christian men's basketball coaching staff in 2025-26.
Battisti comes to OC from Enid after spending four seasons at Northern Oklahoma College, three of which he was the assistant men's basketball coach and one as the associate head coach. In 2023, Battisti helped lead the Jets to a 22-10 record while making two Region 2 championship game appearances in four years.
While with NOC-Enid, Battisti recruited and coached First Team All-Freshman and Second Team All-Region honoree J'Lynn Counter as well as Region II Player of the Year and All-American Jordan Thompson.
Battisti spent one year as the assistant men's basketball head coach at Oklahoma City University after working as a graduate assistant for the University of Arkansas at Monticello, where he earned his masters degree in 2020 in physical education and coaching. With Battisti on the sidelines, the Boll Weevils went 19-13 during the 2019-20 season
In his college days, Battisti played at Southwestern Oklahoma State, where he was a four-year letterman for the Bulldogs before graduating with a bachelors degree in health and physical education in 2019. A native of Moore, Okla., Battisti served as team captain at Southmoore High School his senior year after being a three-year letterman on the basketball team.
