Michelle Krause, a dual credentialed physical therapist and athletic trainer, joined the Oklahoma Christian University athletic training staff as its rehabilitation coordinator in November 2013.
Krause earned her bachelor of science degree in physical therapy from the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center in 1998 and her master of education degree in sports administration from East Central University in 2002.
Before arriving at OC, she spent 10 years working in intercollegiate athletics – six years (2004-2010) as a rehabilitation coordinator and staff athletic trainer at Northwestern University in Evanston, Ill., and four years (2000-2004) as a graduate assistant trainer and rehabilitation coordinator at East Central in Ada.
Since September 2012, she’s worked as the center manager at Select Physical Therapy in Oklahoma City, and she worked from August 2010 to August 2012 as a physical therapist and athletic trainer at Jim Thorpe Rehabilitation at Integris Marshall County Medical Center in Madill.
Krause is a member of the National Athletic Trainers’ Association, the Oklahoma Athletic Trainers’ Association, the American Physical Therapy Association and the Oklahoma Physical Therapy Association.
