A longtime high school coach in the Oklahoma City area, Mark Craft joined the OC staff with the 2016 season.
Craft coached baseball at Choctaw High School from 1987 through his retirement after the 2014 season. He was named as The Oklahoman’s Big All-City coach of the year in 2001.
Before coaching at Choctaw, Craft spent 10 seasons as an assistant coach at Edmond Memorial High School, working under the legendary Wendell Simmons. Craft served as the head coach of Edmond’s American Legion summer teams during that time.
A Midwest City native, Craft played at what is now Central Oklahoma before joining the Edmond Memorial staff.
