Mechanical Engineering major … Versatile infielder who brought experience and a strong bat into the OC lineup … After a season at shortstop, likely to move to third base in 2016 … Proven hitter who often hits the ball into the gap for extra bases … 2015: Played in 57 games (56 starts), hitting .316 with three home runs and 48 RBIs … Also had 19 doubles and two triples, good for a .469 slugging percentage … Stole four bases (in six attempts) … Led the team in RBIs and doubles … In Heartland Conference stats, finished eighth in RBIs and tied for second in doubles … Named as an NCCAA Scholar-Athlete … Named to the Heartland Conference academic Honor Roll’s Commissioner’s List … Named as recipient of Division II Athletic Directors Association Academic Achievement Award … Made OC debut in season opener in loss at Northeastern State on Feb. 7, going 2-for-5 with a double, a triple and a run scored … Homered while going 1-for-3 with two RBIs and two runs scored in loss at Southeastern Oklahoma State on Feb. 10 … Opened season on seven-game hitting streak capped by multiple-hit outings in losses to West Texas A&M on Feb. 13-14 and a win over Dakota State (S.D.) on Feb. 14, in which he homered and had three RBIs … Doubled and had two RBIs in March 16 win over Southern Nazarene … Doubled as part of a 2-for-4, two-RBI performance in win over Texas A&M International on March 20 … Had two more RBIs in win over Arkansas Tech on March 24 … Went 2-for-5 with a double and two RBIs in win at Oklahoma City University on April 7 … Hit a walkoff three-run homer in the ninth inning to lift OC past Oklahoma Panhandle State 8-6 on March 10, capping a 2-for-5, four-RBI outing … In three-game series at Lubbock Christian (Texas) on April 25-26, went 7-for-13 with five RBIs, three runs scored and three doubles – one in each game – lifting the Eagles to a 2-1 series win … Also sizzled in the NCCAA Central Region tournament from May 13-16, going 8-for-16 with eight RBIs, six doubles and three runs scored as the Eagles went 4-0, beating Crowley’s Ridge (Ark.), Dallas Christian (Texas), McMurry (Texas) and tournament host Central Baptist (Ark.) … Had three doubles in the 13-3 win over Central Baptist in the title game … In NCCAA World Series opener against Bethesda (Calif.)on May 20, went 3-for-4 with an RBI in OC’s 2-1 win in Mason, Ohio … Previous school: Attended Frank Phillips College in Borger, Texas … As a sophomore, hit .373 with four home runs, 20 doubles, three triples and 50 RBIs for the Plainsmen, who finished 35-22 … Had three or more hits in 10 of his 54 games as a sophomore … Before junior college, attended  W.T.
