Mechanical Engineering major … Versatile newcomer who comes from a winning prep program … Should bolster OC’s pitching corps … 2018: Played in 13 games (two starts), hitting .333 with one RBI … As a pitcher, made 10 appearances (two starts), going 0-1 with a 9.06 ERA and four strikeouts and 13 walks in 17 innings … Made the Heartland Conference academic Honor Roll’s Commissioner’s List (both semesters) … In collegiate debut, allowed four hits and one run in 3 1/3 innings vs. Arkansas Tech on Feb. 3 … Had first collegiate hit,a single, on Feb. 4 in loss to Central Missouri … Threw shutout inning in win over Southwestern Oklahoma State on Feb. 13 … Tossed two shutout innings, allowing only one hit, in loss to Rogers State on  May 5 in Heartland Conference tournament … Previous school: Attended Aledo High School … As a senior, made the Texas Girls Coaches Association’s Class 5A All-State team after going 15-10 with a 2.41 ERA and 152 strikeouts in 157 innings … Also hit .342 with one home run and 13 RBIs … Named as the District 8-5A newcomer of the year as a junior in 2016 … Played on Aledo teams that made the Texas Class 5A state tournament in 2014 and 2015.
