Accounting/Finance major … Hard-working right-hander who found a niche as an ace long reliever for the Eagles … Durable and able to handle long pitching stints when necessary … President of OC’s Student-Athlete Advisory Committee … 2015: Made a Heartland Conference-high 24 appearances, going 5-2 with two saves, a 2.05 ERA and 18 strikeouts and five walks in 38 1/3 innings … Led team  in appearances and ERA … Received honorable mention on the All-NCCAA Central Region teams … Named as an NCCAA Scholar-Athlete … Named to the Heartland Conference academic Honor Roll’s President’s List … Named as recipient of Division II Athletic Directors Association Academic Achievement Award … Made first collegiate appearance in a Feb. 10 win at Southeastern Oklahoma State, allowing one hit in two innings … Recorded first career win on Feb. 15 against Dakota State (S.D.), throwing 2 2/3 innings of one-hit ball as OC prevailed 3-0 … Threw one inning to pick up win against East Central on March 16 … Four days later, picked up win No. 3 during a 2/3-inning stint against Texas A&M International … The next day, recorded first career save, striking out two in a one-inning stint in a 4-2 win over Texas A&M International … On March 31, recorded save in 7-6 win over Oklahoma City University, allowing only one hit in 1 2/3 innings … Shined in four postseason appearances, the first on Feb. 14 against Dallas Christian (Texas) in the NCCAA Central Region tournament in Conway, Ark., when he threw a shutout inning in a 10-2 win … The next day, picked up the win with a 3 1/3-inning outing in an 8-5 win over McMurry (Texas) that propelled OC into the tournament’s championship round … At the NCCAA World Series in Mason, Ohio, recorded the decision in a 2-1, 10-inning win against Bethesda (Calif.) on March 20, allowing only one hit in 2 2/3 innings … Two days later in the NCCAA semifinals, recorded his longest career outing, going 7 1/3 innings against powerful Fresno Pacific (Calif.), allowing five hits and no earned runs but taking a hard-luck loss as OC fell 4-3 in 12 innings … 2014: Redshirted … Previous school: Attended Edmond Memorial High School, where as a senior he was a shortstop and pitcher for the Bulldogs, who went 21-13 … As a pitcher, went 6-3 with a 3.82 ERA and 48 strikeouts and 21 walks in 55 innings … Three-year starter for Edmond Memorial … Played in the Under Armour Arizona Sophomore/Freshman Fall Classic in 2010.
