Biography

Finance major … Physical, strong player who has provided solid depth along OC’s frontline and could see an expanded role in her final basketball season … A terrific athlete who also is a standout thrower for OC’s track and field team, finishing fifth in the discus at the 2014 NCCAA Outdoor Championships … Wore uniform No. 30 last season before switching to No. 33 for her senior season … 2014-15: Played in all 26 games (nine starts), averaging 5.3 points and 3.1 rebounds per game … Shot 76.3 percent from the free-throw line (45-of-59) … Opened the season with a 13-point performance off the bench and matched her career high with two blocked shots on Nov. 15 in a win over York (Neb.) … That was her first double-digit scoring game since her freshman season … Went for 12 points and seven rebounds while matching her career high with three steals in loss at Arkansas-Fort Smith on Jan. 24 … Had nine points, six rebounds and again matched her career high with three steals in a win over Texas A&M International on Jan. 31 … Put together an impressive string of three straight double-digit scoring games near the end of the season, all in OC wins … Scored 11 points in win at Oklahoma Panhandle State on Feb. 7 … Three days later, scored all 11 of her points in the first half – hitting three 3-pointers in the process – as OC won 60-40 at Newman (Kan.) … In home win over Rogers State, scored a season-high 14 points (on 5-of-11 shooting) and grabbed five rebounds … In track and field, did not compete during indoor season … During outdoor season, qualified for NCCAA Championships in the discus … At the national meet in Rome, Ga., finished fourth with a season-best throw of 133 feet, 11 inches (40.83 meters) … Won the discus competition in the Southwestern Relays with a throw of 131 feet, 2 inches (39.98 meters) … 2013-14: Played in 19 games, averaging 0.7 points and 0.7 rebounds per game … Named to the Heartland Conference academic Honor Roll’s Commissioner’s List …  Scored season-high three points in win over Texas-Permian Basin on Dec. 16 … Also scored during the regular season in a loss to Lubbock Christian (Texas) on Feb. 8, a win over McMurry (Texas) on Feb. 10, a win over Rogers State on Feb. 13, a win over Arkansas-Fort Smith on Feb. 15 … Scored two points in win over Southwestern Assemblies of God (Texas) in NCCAA Central Region semifinals on March 14 … Had two points in win at Grace (Ind.) in NCCAA Championship consolation semifinal on March 20 … In track, finished fifth in the discus at the NCCAA Outdoor Championships in Rome, Ga., with a throw of 40.41 meters (132 feet, 7 inches) … During the regular season, had a top throw of 43.92 meters (144 feet, 1 inch) at the Tabor (Kan.) Invitational on April 16, winning the meet competition … Also posted a meet win in the Southwestern (Kan.) Relays with a throw of 40.22 meters (131 feet, 11 inches) … 2012-13: Played in 31 games, averaging 2.7 points and 2.2 rebounds per game … Top scoring outings were a pair of seven-point performances in a loss to Mid-America Christian on Dec. 6 and a win at McMurry (Texas) on Jan. 10 … Went 3-of-5 from the field with six points and five rebounds in win over Southeastern Oklahoma State on Nov. 9 … In track, finished sixth in the discus with a throw of 128 feet, 5 inches at the NCCAA Outdoor Championships in Joliet, Ill. … 2011-12: Overcame preseason hip injury to play in all 29 games, starting four … Averaged 4.7 points and 2.8 rebounds per game … Scored in double figures in three games, highlighted by a 20-point performance in a loss at St. Gregory’s (Dec. 1) … Also scored 10 points in home losses to Oklahoma City University (Dec. 31) and Rogers State (Jan. 12) … In track, earned All-America honors in the discus after a career-best throw of 147 feet, 4 inches at the NAIA Outdoor Championships … Previous school: Starred at Savanna High School, leading the Bulldogs to a 24-3 record and the Class 2A state tournament as a senior … Received All-State honors and also played in annual Oklahoma Indian All-State game … Named most valuable player in the Pitt 8 Conference Averaged 16 points, 10 rebounds and 4.2 assists per game … Also ran track, setting an Oklahoma Class 2A record while winning the state title in the discus as a senior.
