Sport, Wellness and Recreation Management major … Dominant pitcher who has established herself as one of the best in NCAA Division II and the Heartland Conference … Named NCCAA national pitcher of the year as a sophomore … Has recorded two career no-hitters, one of those in postseason play… Holds OC single-season (6) and career (10) saves records … Right-hander known for having an outstanding riseball … Comes from a prep program with a history of producing outstanding pitchers … Also has considerable speed when playing in the outfield … 2015: Put together an outstanding sophomore season, making 34 appearances and going 18-9 with four saves, a 1.70 ERA and 205 strikeouts and 46 walks in 176 2/3 innings … Posted 22 complete games and 10 shutouts … Recorded six double-digit strikeout performances … In Heartland Conference regular-season statistics, finished third in ERA, third in opponents’ batting average (.215), fifth in innings pitched, fourth in strikeouts, seventh in wins and President’s List … Picked up the win in both halves of the season-opening doubleheader against Mid-America Christian on Feb. 10, throwing a six-inning no-hitter in an 8-0 win in the opener … Named as the Heartland Conference’s pitcher of the week and NCCAA student-athlete of the week after that performance … Recorded first save of season with 1 2/3-inning stint against Texas A&M-Commerce on Feb. 20, raising her career total to seven saves and taking sole possession of OC’s career record in that category … Later that day, threw a complete-game three-hit shutout in 3-0 win over Texas Woman’s … Threw two shutout innings on Feb. 21 against Tarleton State (Texas) to pick up her second save of the season … The next day, tossed a four-hit shutout as OC edged No. 13 Central Oklahoma 1-0, extending her run of scoreless innings to 26 … That run earned her the NFCA’s Division II national pitcher of the week honor, making her the first OC hurler to receive such an award … Also was named as the Heartland’s player of the week and the NCCAA student-athlete of the week for the second straight week … Her scoreless-innings streak ended at 27, but she still picked up the win, throwing a six-inning complete game in a 10-2 decision over No. 20 Central Oklahoma on March 3 … Battling an injury, suffered through a stretch of six straight losses between March 6-17 … Still managed 12 strikeouts in a 1-0 loss to Cameron on March 17 … Snapped the losing streak with a complete-game two-hit shutout on March 20 against Texas-Permian Basin, striking out 11 … Three days later, struck out a season-high 13 in a complete-game five-hit shutout win over Oklahoma Panhandle State … Those outings earned her NCCAA student-athlete of the week honors for the third time in 2015 … Also on March 23, picked up a save against Oklahoma Panhandle State, helping her win the Heartland Conference player-of-the-week honor for a third time … Posted complete-game wins against Rogers State (4-1 on April 3) and Midwestern State (Texas) (7-2 on April 7, with 10 strikeouts) … Led Lady Eagles to series win against conference-leading Lubbock Christian (Texas), recording two complete-game wins … On April 10, threw a complete-game four-hitter and fanned 11 in a 5-1 win … The next day, shut out the Chaparrals on four hits as OC won 4-0 … Again was named as both the Heartland Conference player of the week and NCCAA student-athlete of the week … The following week, led OC to another series win over a Heartland-leading foe, No. 6 St. Mary’s (Texas) … In a showdown against eventual conference pitcher of the year Vianna Gutierrez Touchtone, threw a two-hit shutout as OC won 2-0 on April 17 … Later that day, threw two innings of relief and picked up her fourth save in a 5-4 win by OC … In a second showdown with Gutierrez Touchtone on April 18, left with the score tied 4-4 after seven innings, in a game St. Mary’s eventually won 5-4 in eight innings … Threw a six-inning complete-game shutout in 7-0 win over Oklahoma Wesleyan in the NCCAA Central Region tournament on May 9, striking out 11 … Went an impressive 4-1 in the NCCAA Championship in Troutville, Va., throwing in five of OC’s six national-tournament games … Threw 3 1/3 innings of shutout relief to earn the win in a 7-6 decision over Grace (Ind.) on May 13 … The next day, blanked Mississippi College on five hits in a 5-0 win … In one of the best performances of her career, with OC’s season on the line, threw a complete-game no-hitter in a 5-0 win over Lee (Tenn.) in the losers’ bracket finale on May 15, striking out five … Followed later that day with 3 2/3 innings of one-hit relief as OC beat Simpson (Calif.) 4-2 to force an if-necessary game … In her third game of the day, started in the national-championship game and went five innings, allowing eight hits and taking the loss as OC fell 6-4 to Simpson … Still was named to the all-tournament team for the second straight year and later honored as the NCCAA national pitcher of the year … As a hitter, hit .182 with one RBI … Recorded first career hit and first career stolen base against Tarleton State (Texas) on Feb. 21 … Had another stolen base and scored her first career run in win over Texas-Permian Basin on March 21 … Recoded an RBI single and scored a run in 14-9 win over Rogers State on April 2 … 2014: Recorded one of the finest seasons ever by an OC pitcher, playing in 38 games (28 starts) and going 24-4 with six saves, a 1.80 ERA and 197 strikeouts in 183 innings … Threw 20 complete games and 11 shutouts and allowed opponents only a .204 batting average … Received a slew of postseason honors … Named to the NCCAA All-America first-team list after being named as the NCCAA Central Region pitcher of the year and appearing on the All-Region first-team list … Also named to the all-tournament team at the NCCAA Championship after leading OC to a national runner-up finish … Named to the National Fastpitch Coaches Association’s All-South Central Region second-team list … Named to the All-Heartland Conference first-team list and likely would have been both freshman and pitcher of the year had the conference allowed OC players to be eligible for those awards … During regular season, led the conference in ERA, saves and strikeouts per inning and was third in wins, third in total strikeouts, second in shutouts, seventh in complete games and second in opponent batting average … Broke or tied four school records … Her .857 winning percentage set a school single-season mark, as did her streak of 21 straight winning decisions … Her six saves broke the OC single-season record and tied the school’s career record … Fell just one win shy of matching school mark for wins in a season (25 by Leah Carrell in 2001) and one shutout shy of Carrell’s record of 12, set in 2000 … Won three Heartland Conference player of the week awards, all in succession in April, and was named as the NCCAA softball student-athlete of the week (pitching) four times … Made the Heartland Conference academic Honor Roll’s Commissioner’s List … First career win came in season opener, 10-8 at Midwestern State (Texas) on Feb. 13 … The next day, held NCAA Division I Abilene Christian to six hits and one run in a complete-game effort as OC win 7-1 … Recorded her first career save a day after that, also against Abilene Christian … In the first game ever played at OC’s new Tom Heath Field, struck out a season-high 14 batters on Feb. 18 in a 5-0 loss to West Texas A&M, which went on to win the NCAA Division II national championship … Picked up the win in relief on Feb. 22 against Eastern New Mexico, starting a remarkable stretch of 21 straight winning decisions … Threw a one-hit shutout with nine strikeouts in 3-0 win at Texas-Permian Basin on Feb. 28, then beat UTPB in relief the next day, efforts which earned her her initial NCCAA student-athlete of the week honor …  Beat No. 21 Emporia State (Kan.) 8-4 on March 6, allowing three hits in 4 1/3 innings … Threw complete-game two-hit shutout in 8-0 win over Oklahoma Wesleyan on March 18 … Recorded her second double-digit strikeout game with 10 Ks in a complete-game three-hit shutout as OC beat Rogers State 4-0 on March 28 … Again blanked Rogers State one day later on six hits in a 5-0 win … In showdown against 2013 NCAA Division II World Series MVP Kalynn Schrock of Central Oklahoma, allowed three hits and one run and fanned seven as OC beat the Bronchos 3-1 on April 1 … In head-to-head showdown against eventual Heartland pitcher of the year Sarah Debrow of St. Edward’s (Texas) on April 4, went the distance to lead OC to a 3-2 win … Threw three-hit shutout against eventual NCAA tournament squad Cameron in 9-0 win on April 8 … Dazzled in win at then-No. 3-ranked St. Mary’s (Texas) on April 13, tossing a one-hit shutout as OC dealt the Rattlers their first conference loss by a 3-0 count … That  outing earned her both Heartland pitcher-of-the-week and NCCAA student-athlete-of-the-week honors … Threw a pair of two-hit shutouts against Newman (Kan.) on April 17 and 18, leading OC to 3-0 and 8-0 wins and giving her four straight shutouts … Repeated as both the Heartland pitcher of the week and the NCCAA student-athlete of the week … Fanned 14 batters in a two-hitter to lead OC past Texas A&M International 8-1 on April 25, extending her streak of consecutive scoreless innings to 30 before the Dustdevils scored … Later that day, broke the school single-season mark for saves with her sixth, pitching the final inning as OC downed TAMIU 15-12 … Threw a six-hit shutout and struck out 10 batters the next day as OC beat TAMIU 2-0, helping earn her third straight Heartland pitcher-of-the-week award … Recorded two wins in the NCCAA Central Region tournament, throwing a three-hit shutout with nine strikeouts in a 9-0 win over Colorado Christian on May 9, then allowing three hits and two runs while striking out 12 batters as OC beat Central Baptist (Ark.) 5-2 for the region title the next day … Her regional tournament performance earned her the NCCAA student-athlete of the week award for pitching for a fourth time, helping OC sweep the national awards that week, as teammate Kendra Pierce took the hitting honor … Pitched in all five games for OC at the NCCAA Championship, starting four of them and going 2-2 … Recorded a two-hit shutout in 8-0 win over Union (Tenn.) that propelled the Lady Eagles into the winners’ bracket final … Threw 16 1/3 innings over three games on the final day of the season, falling twice to Shorter (Ga.) but beating Union in relief … Allowed only two runs (one earned) in 8 2/3 innings in a 2-1 loss to Shorter in the championship round … Previous school: Led Tuttle High School to a 33-7 record and the Class 4A fast-pitch semifinals as a senior … In two state-tournament games, recorded 24 strikeouts and allowed only seven hits … Named to the Middle West All-State team by the Oklahoma High School Fastpitch Softball Coaches Association … Received second-team Little All-City honors from The Oklahoman as a senior.
