DALLAS - Oklahoma Christian women's soccer held No. 1 Dallas Baptist scoreless in a 0-0 draw on Saturday afternoon at Patriot Soccer Field, the first time the Patriots have been shut out this season. The Eagles extended their unbeaten run to seven matches and are 11-4-2 overall and 8-3-2 in Lone Star Conference play. DBU is 14-0-2 overall and 11-0-2 in the league.
Breanna Wooten made four saves in 90 minutes for her eighth shutout of the season, stopping every DBU shot on target. She denied Ashley Washburn twice, along with McKenna Vela and Riley Olsen, whose shot in the 86th minute was the last of the match. DBU, which had been scoring 3.6 goals per game, took 14 shots and 13 corner kicks without finding the net.
The Patriots had the early pressure, with five first-half shots and four corners, while OC took one shot before halftime. The Eagles created more in the second half, with five shots. Jordan Tanges forced a save from DBU goalkeeper Josie Juvera in the 57th minute, and Callaway Scott's shot in the 78th minute was also saved. Caid Jefferson put two attempts towards the goal, and Tanges missed just left in the 82nd minute.
It was OC's first draw against DBU since a 3-3 tie in 2024, and the first time DBU has been held scoreless in the series since OC's 1-0 win on Sept. 12, 2009. The Eagles' unbeaten run is 5-0-2 since a 2-1 loss at Midwestern State on Sept. 30.

Tuesday's regular-season finales:
-
OC at West Texas A&M (7 p.m. CT): The Eagles can't move up from fourth, since the top three already have at least 32 points and OC's maximum is 29. UT Tyler, two points back, hosts UT Dallas at 6 p.m. and is the only team that can catch OC.
-
OC wins: The Eagles reach 29 points and clinch the No. 4 seed.
-
OC draws: OC reaches 27, and UT Tyler could tie it with a win. The teams drew 0-0 on Oct. 7, so the tiebreaker would be conference goal differential.
-
OC loses: UT Tyler passes OC with a win and sends the Eagles on the road as the No. 5 seed.
-
DBU at Midwestern State (7 p.m.): The No. 1 seed hosts the semifinals and championship. A DBU loss would drop it to 35, which Midwestern State could match with a win, and Texas Woman's (at Angelo State, 6 p.m.) could also reach 35.

The last three spots: West Texas A&M (20), Lubbock Christian (19), UT Dallas (19), St. Edward's (18) and St. Mary's (17) are fighting for the sixth through eighth seeds. Lubbock Christian visits St. Mary's, St. Edward's visits Sul Ross State, and UT Dallas is at UT Tyler.
