Lady Eagles Struck by Cold Shooting in 66-43 Loss

EDMOND, OKLA. - Elikya Baseyila recorded her season-high with 12 points while shooting 6-of-9 from the floor, yet Oklahoma Christian fell to St. Mary's at home Thursday afternoon, 66-43.

The Lady Eagles created havoc on the defensive end, forcing 19 turnovers, but the hot shooting from the Rattlers ultimately got the best of the maroon-and-gray. Taylor Jackson was active on
the glass as she totaled 10 rebounds on the night.

St. Mary's notched 10 three pointers on the night, contributing nearly half of the gray-and-blue's points from behind the arc.

Oklahoma Christian (7-11, 3-8 LSC) will not take on St. Edwards this weekend due to inclement weather, with the contest to be rescheduled for a later date yet to be determined. The Lady Eagles will travel to Wichita Falls, Texas, as they take on Midwestern State next Thursday, Jan. 31 at 5:30 p.m. CT.
