BETHANY, Okla. - For the first time since 2017, the Oklahoma Christian men's soccer program defeated (RV) Southern Nazarene in Bethany as the Eagles took down the Crimson Storm Thursday night, 1-0.Â
What Went Down
- The Eagles defense held SNU to just one shot on goal the first half as goalkeeper Nick Hardiman recorded four saves in 90 minutes of action.
- Similar defense from Southern Nazarene while OC saw a few more shots on goal, yet with nothing finding the back of the net.
- 2024 Lone Star Conference All-Freshman recipient Ethan Nakolo broke through in the 69', netting one of his two shots on the evening for the eventual game-winning goal.Â

- Thursday was the first time since the 2024 season opener that Southern Nazarene has been held without a goal in a home loss.
- Ethan Nakolo's scored his sixth career goal in Thursday's match against Southern Nazarene.
- In addition to the victory being OC's first such result against SNU in Bethany since 2017, it is only the second ever such victory in Bethany of the NCAA DII era.
