TYLER, Texas - No. 21 and fourth-seeded Oklahoma Christian, after fighting back with a pair of wins on day two of the South Central Regional, fell to No. 1 UT Tyler in game one of the sub-region final, 8-0.
The Eagles end their season with a 38-21 overall record, marking their fifth season with at least 38 victories in the last six campaigns (excluding shortened 2020 season). Highlighting the 38-win season was a program-record three All-LSC First Team recipients and two Third Team honorees.
Rebeccah Lozano (0-1) got her first start of the season in the circle, holding the nation's No. 1 team scoreless through the first three innings. UT Tyler broke the scoreless tie in the fourth for a brief 2-0 lead before opening it up in the sixth with a six-run frame.
Oklahoma Christian managed just one hit, courtesy of a double from senior
Kate Paulsen. The 2025 LSC All-Academic recipient was the only Eagle to claim a hit in every game of the South Central Regional, hitting .556 (5-for-9) across the four such games.
