EDMOND, Okla. - Oklahoma Christian recorded four shots on goal to No. 22 Midwestern's eight, but the Mustangs were able to net two of the attempts as OC fell to MSU Saturday afternoon, 2-0.
What Went Down
- Both teams recorded a shot on goal in the first 15 minutes, but it was Midwestern St. who found the back of the net for the early 1-0 lead.
- 20 minutes later, despite the maroon-and-gray seeing two more shots-on-goal in the first half, MSU netted its second goal in the 33' to take a 2-0 lead into halftime.
- The Eagles' offense was kept at bay as the home team delivered just one more shot on goal before the No. 22 program left Eagles Soccer Field with the 2-0 victory.
Notes
