Bradley Fires off Career High as Chaps Outlast the Lady Eagles in Lubbock

LUBBOCK, Texas - Oklahoma Christian (6-10, LSC 3-9) traveled to take on No. 18 Lubbock Christain (17-3, 11-1). Behind the scoring of the reigning Lone Star Conference Offenses Player of the Week, Grace Foster, the Chaps took down the Lady Eagles despite a career night for senior guard Kate Bradley in the 52-72 loss.

First Quarter OC 8 - LCU 20

The Chaparrals quickly found a spark in leading scorer Grace Foster, who scored the game's first seven points. On the other hand, the Lady Eagles went zero for 10 from the field to start the game and found themselves down 10.

Kate Bradley would get the Lady Eagles on the board first, driving in and hitting a runner in the lane to kick off her career-high night.

Second Quarter OC 24 - LCU 38

Behind Bradley's scoring and the rebounding efforts of Nakia Cullom and Ewa Kielar, the lead Eagles were within 10 points of the nationally ranked Chaparrals in the second quarter. Still, they were down 14 at the half.

Third Quarter OC 35 - LCU 62

Chaparrals came out of the half with great shooting in the third quarter, going 50% from the field to widen the gap between themselves and the lady Eagles, busting out to almost a 30-point lead going into the fourth quarter.

Fourth Quarter OC 52 - LCU 72

Kate Bradley capped off her career night with 22 points. The Lady Eagles outscored Lubbock Christian in the fourth quarter before falling in the rip Griffin Arena, extending their losing streak to four games.
