Angelo, Texas - Oklahoma Christian and No. 20 Angelo State matched up for the doubleheader of the four-game series, and pitching and defense ruled the day.

Game 1
The Rams scored three runs over the second and third innings to grab the lead.

Chris Jones had another solid outing, only allowing one hit in two innings of relief and striking out two Rams.

Pitching and defense by both teams took over, and the game ended in the Rams' 3-0 win.

Game 2
An RBI single opened the scoring for the Rams in the bottom of the first to give ASU a 1-0 lead.

Oklahoma Christian responded in the top of the third, tying the game on an RBI groundout. The groundout scored Michael Buckle, who reached base as a part of two Angelo State errors in the inning.

Four hits for Angelo in the bottom of the inning led to two runs and a 3-1 lead, and in the fifth, they added two more to stretch the lead to the final score of 5-1.

Silas Cowgill threw two no-hit shutout innings to close the game on the mound for OC.
