Oklahoma City, Okla. - Oklahoma Christian (3-14, 3-12) continued their series with Lubbock Christian (12-7, 12-7) on Saturday afternoon with a doubleheader.

Game 1
Lubbock Christian got on the board early with a lead-off home run to left center. As LCU continued to find their offensive groove early in the game, OC looked to work back into the game after finding themselves in a first-inning hole.

LCU continued to make solid contact with the ball and used the wind to their advantage to add a few more runs in the top of the third inning.

The Chaps' bats continued to be hot and scored in every inning except the second and the seventh.

Hunter Jones hit a two-run home run in the bottom of the sixth to break up the shutout.

Game 2
Lubbock Christian got on the board first off an error from the Eagles.
Â
The Eagles were quick to get a run of their own, with
Alejandro Sanchez getting on base with a walk and quickly getting to second to get into scoring position.
Johnny Behm then drove Sanchez in to tie the game.
Â
LCU would score again in the 2nd inning to grab the lead back.

The Eagles created some offense of their own in the bottom of the third with an
Alejandro Sanchez walk, and he moved over to third again on a steal and error on the throw.
Ethan Box brought Sanchez across home plate to pull the Eagles within one.

The Eagles were able to keep the momentum in their favor with a
Jadan Boyce lead-off walk.
Greg Maskarinec kept it going with a hard hit to shortstop, who was unable to get out.

The Eagles were able to tie the game as Boyce crossed home on a wild pitch from LCU.
Connor Wyatt followed that by ripping a sacrifice RBI to grab the lead for the first time in the series.

LCU was able to get the offensive started again in the top of the fifth as they grabbed the lead back.

- Justin Spencer had a strong day behind the plate, recording 2 doubles and drawing a walk for the Eagles.
- Naut Kragt put together a strong showing on the mound, tacking on 5 strikeouts in his 5 innings pitched.
- Hunter Jones added to his home run tally, putting himself at 3, which leads all Eagles.
