Oklahoma City, Okla. - After winning on an extra-innings walk-off single last night, the Eagles kept the momentum going with a doubleheader sweep of the Dustdevils today at Dobson Field to secure their first series win.

Game 1
A dominant pitching performance from
Brooks Snyder and
Chris Jones, behind a nine-run outburst, led the Eagles to a win in game one.

Snyder threw four one-hit innings, only allowing 1 hit while facing 18 batters. Jones threw three no-hit innings, striking out 2 Dustdevils, and only faced one above the minimum.

TAMIU took a 1-0 lead in the top of the second, but
Justin Spencer answered for the Eagles with an RBI single to center field, scoring
Hunter Jones, who reached on a walk.

Jones picked up an RBI of his own in the bottom of the third, scoring
Jadan Boyce, and Johhny Behm drove in two runs on a single up the middle, giving the Eagles a 4-1 lead.

In the bottom of the fourth, the Eagles scored four more runs, three of which came on an
Alejandro Sanchez three-run home run, and OC picked up one more on an error.

Jadan Boyce drove in the final run of the game on a sacrifice fly that plated
Daxton Carter, who originally reached base on a double.

Game 2
Game two featured a lot more drama after an early lead from the Eagles.
Ethan Box got Oklahoma Christian on the board, scoring
Sloan Laird on an RBI single through the left side of the infield.
Justin Spencer followed that up with an RBI double down the left field line, and Johhny Behm took one for the team, wearing a pitch for an RBI, giving OC a 3-0 lead.

Texas A&M International cut the lead down to one in the top of the fourth, plating two on two RBI singles.

Alejandro Sanchez gave the Eagles some cushion in the bottom of the fourth, driving in
Jadan Boyce all the way from first on an RBI double to left center, doubling OC's lead.

In the sixth inning, TAMIU added a run on a solo home run, and they tied in the top of the seventh on a sacrifice fly.

Ethan Box opened the bottom half of the inning with a walk and was pinch-ran for by
Michael Buckley.
Justin Spencer singled to right field, advancing Buckley to third base, and
Connor Wyatt drove him in to win the game on an RBI single to left field.

The walk-off was the Eagles second in as many days, and they will look to sweep the series tomorrow with the first pitch set for 1 p.m.
