Eagles Outlook (0-0, 0-0 LSC)
Coach Brown, now in his third season with Oklahoma Christian, will look to continue to build his program with a mix of veteran leadership in Kate Bradley (senior), Nakia Cullom (senior), Taylor Jackson (junior), and Jordan Francisco (senior), with the addition of transfer experience in Ewa Kielar (Western Carolina University), Caitlynn Jordan (Utah Tech), and Elikya Baseylia.
Bradley, voted as the Conference Preseason Player to Watch and Cullom will look to lead the Lady Eagles in the back court. The duo led the Eagles in three-point percentage last year, finishing the season above 30 percent from deep range and both average just under 10 points a game.
The additions made by Coach Brown in the off-season with Jordan, Kielar, and Baseylia added length to the Lady Eagles present in the lane with all three looking to make an immediate impact on the boards.
The Lady Eagles and the Tigers matched for a neutral site contest last year in the Newman Classic. The teams played in a highly contested game as before the Tigers were able to pull away in the final minutes to claim the 59-53 victory. This was the first time the two schools matched up since 2006.
