EDMOND, Okla., - With six different players scoring a goal Tuesday evening, Oklahoma Christian posted its largest win in the NCAA Division II era with an 8-1 dominant performance against Eastern New Mexico from Eagle Soccer Field.
What Went Down
- Women's soccer had an incredible night after scoring eight goals while only conceding one. The team matched its season high with 22 shots.
- Oklahoma Christian scored three goals in the first half before exploding for five second-half goals, three of which came within nine minutes of each other.
- Both goalkeepers Breana Wooten and Arianna Hearn saw action, recording a combined five saves.
Notes
- Sophomore Ashlee Moore from Wylie, Texas, scored her first career goal in 80'. Seven minutes later, she had another incredible shot and scored her second career goal.
- Jadynn Daggs scored her first career goal in 31'. She also assisted Kyla Lovelace on her first goal of the night. Both Daggs and freshman Caid Jefferson recorded a goal and an assist in the lopsided victory.
- After scoring two goals on the night, Lovelace has now 30 career goals, adding to her NCAA Division II program career record. Fourth multi-goal game of the season and eighth such game of her career.
