WICHITA FALLS, Texas - After trailing for 58 minutes Wednesday night, Oklahoma Christian women's soccer was able to come back with a late goal to finish in a 1-1 draw on the road against previously-nationally ranked Midwestern State.
What Went Down
- Eagles conceded an early goal in the 22' before heading into halftime trailing 1-0.
- After 11 shots, five of which were on goal, OC's Caid Jefferson scored the game-tying goal with 10 minutes left in the game to finish play in a 1-1 tie.
Notes
- Forward Caid Jefferson scored her third goal in three matches that helped the team bring the tie home. The freshman now has three career goals.
- Reigning Lone Star Conference Goalkeeper of the Week Breanna Wooten had four incredible saves to help uphold the tie.
