Oklahoma City, Okla- Oklahoma Christian (3-14, LSC 2-11) will host two nationally ranked conference foes this week in the Nest.

Thursday, the Eagles will host #13 Texas Woman's, and Saturday, the Eagles will play #24 UT Tyler. 

What To Know About OC 

• Coach Markeith Brown is in his second season as the Lady Eagles head coach. 

• The Lady Eagles were picked to finish 9th in the Lone Star Conference preseason poll.

• Leading the way for the Lady Eagles is senior guard Brooklin Bain. Bain is averaging 14.3 points per game and 8 rebounds. Bain has recorded 5 double-doubles in the 15 games so far this season. Bain also sits 12th in conference scoring and 8th in rebounding.

• Graduate student guard Asiyha Smith is providing the Eagles with quality possession, averaging 11.5 points per game and 2.6 assists. Smith has had 12 games scoring in double digits. 

• The Lady Eagles have also seen good production from redshirt sophomore Taylor Jackson, who, coming off the bench, has provided production on both ends of the court, including four games scoring at least 13 points and being a force on the boards.

• The Eagles have seen an uptick in production from junior guard Kate Bradley, who is coming off a career night vs. Midwestern State. In the last two games, Bradley has gone 9-17 from 3-point, scored 33 points, 8 rebounds, and had 10 assists.

• Head coach Beth Jillson is in her 17th season at TW and has been named the LSC Coach of the Year for the last two seasons. 

• Last year, the Pioneers finished 2nd in the LSC tournament and represented the LSC in the NCAA Tournament. 

• The Pioneers have been ranked or receiving votes in every poll this season.

• The Pioneers sit 2nd in the Lone Star Conference standings. 

• The Pioneers are led by the Conference's leading scorer, Ashley Ingram. She is currently averaging 18.3 points per game. Along with her scoring, she is also 4th in rebounds with 8.8 rebounds a game. 

• The Pioneers are also being led by junior guard Leila Patel. Patel is averaging 13.5 points and 3.8 rebounds per game.

• As a team, TWU is leading in field goal percentage, 3rd in scoring, and 3rd in free throw percentage in the conference.

• Earlier this month, when OC and TWU played in Denton, TX, TWU claimed the victory over OC 52-77. 

• TWU saw a career night from Scout Huffman, who led all scorers with 26 points. Ashley Ingram had a double-double with 10 points, 10 rebounds, and dished out 7 assists.

• Rebecca Alvidrez is in her second year as UT Tyler's head coach. In her first year, she led the Lady Patriots to their best season in the school's Division II era. The team made its first appearance in the NCAA tournament and an Elite Eight appearance. 

• Last year, the Lady Patriots finished 2nd in the LSC regular season with a record of 23-6 overall and 18-4 in conference play. 

• UT Tyler was picked to finish 3rd in this year's preseason conference poll. 

• The Lady Patriots are in 1st place in the Conference and are ranked #24 in the D2 South Central Region Poll. 

• The Patriots are led by Tina Machalova, who is averaging 12.8 points per game, 4.3 rebounds, and 2.3 assists per game.

• The Lady Patriots are also led by graduate student forward Montse Gutierrez. Gutierrez is leading the way on defense, sitting at 10th in the conference in blocks and having held the title of LSC Defensive Player of the Week in week two earlier this season.

• When the two teams met in Tyler, Texas, the game came down to the last possession of play. UT Tyler was able to hit clutch free throws at the end to win 65-67.
