PUEBLO, Colo. - The Eagles (1-2-3) took on the No. 4 Colorado State University at Pueblo. The ThunderWovles showed why they are ranked 4th in the nation with an onslaught of goals, beating the Eagles 4-0.
Â
CSU Pueblo scored three of the four in the first half, but the OC defense responded in the first half, holding the ThunderWolves scoreless until the 75th minute. The first goal came off an intercepted free kick, never allowing the defense to get set, and the next two came spread out between the 20th and the 41st minute.
Â
Oklahoma Christian tried to find a way to work the ball through the defense, taking three shots, all on goal, one each from
Igor Caballero,
T.J. Rolfs, and
Lawson Ford.
