Oklahoma City, Okla. - Oklahoma Christian restarted the postponed game on fire before needing a 7th inning rally to come back and win and dominated game two to complete the sweep of the regular season series finale.

The Eagles started the postponed game with a bang, scoring four runs on four hits to cut the Rattlers' lead down to 6-5.
Aaliyah Brown doubled to start the rally, scoring
Whitney Walde from second base.
Kylie Janzen kept things going with an RBI single, scoring
Kristen Whitehouse, and
Boo Robinson plated Brown with an RBI double of her own.
Karsyn Iltis wrapped up the rally with a sacrifice RBI that brought Janzen home.

Iltis, who started in the circle, set the side down in order in back-to-back frames before a three-run 6th inning stretched the lead to 9-5 for St. Mary's.

OC rallied in the 7th inning, sparked by
Hannah Pate and
Brooklin Bain reaching base on a single and a double. Whitehouse worked a walk to load the bases, and a sacrifice fly from Brown, cut the lead to 9-6. With two runners on base,
Kylie Janzen stepped up and hit her second
home run of the season to tie the game at 9-9.

Jill Dickson sat St. Mary's down with two foul outs and a ground out to end the Rattlers' chance in the top of the 8th, giving OC an opportunity to keep the offensive momentum alive.

Chloe Woodward and Pate did just that, Woodward single, and Pate laid down an attempted sacrifice bunt, the throw ended up in the outfield allowing Woodward to come all the way around to score and
win the game for Oklahoma Christian.

Dickson picked up her 19th win of the season, which currently has her in sole possession of second place in the Lone Star Conference.

GAME 2
Â
Payton Foster spun a complete game three-hitter, only allowing one run striking out six Rattlers en route to her 9th win of the season.
Â
Oklahoma Christian scored all its runs in the 2nd and third inning, putting the game out of reach with the dominant performance from Foster.

The Eagles scored four runs in the bottom of the second on four hits, after loading the bases with the first three batters. Janzen and Robinson each walked, and
Kelsey Gammage laid down a bunt that rolled perfectly down the third base line, to load the bases with the single.

Woodward brought the first run across with a sacrifice fly, and Pate followed that with an RBI single to left field. Walde kept the offensive outburst going with a two-RBI single, giving OC a 4-0 lead.

Janzen led off the third inning with a walk, and Robinson doubled to left field scoring Janzen. Gammage made it back-to-back RBI doubles, with a double into centerfield that scored Robinson, giving Oklahoma Christian the 6-0 lead that they wouldn't surrender.

With the sweep, the Eagles took third place in the Lone Star Conference, making them the three seed in next weekend's Lone Star Conference Championships, which will be hosted at the 1 seed, UT Tyler.
